Hand Buzzer's Trick
by Bill Bryan
bbryan@raex.com

The normal use for one of the wind up buzzer's is to wind it up and shake hands with
someone, sort of funny but its scares some people and sometimes is not funny..
So heres a little twist, a little gag, I found in an old magic book I had in a box written by
David Ginn.
I have used it, and is a good ice breaker at the beginning of a show.. or really anytime,
during a talk or presentation to get that intention span back to your self...ever sit and listen to
a boring speaker or lecture to the point of putting you to sleep. If you want to make an
impression when your introduced...try it..
Here's the gag..
Take a wind up hand buzzer, hidden or palmed in your hand. As you step up to the microphone, start to talk loud and grab the mic. Afther a few works or so you secretly push the trigger of the buzzer against the mic stand. This will make a wild shocking like sound. Next...

1.) You can play off of that buzzing noise by making a jumping movement like you did get shocked adn then grab it again. Its so spontaneous the audience can't help but laugh.

2.) You can then start to say a sentence and just move your lips as if saying something, but don't. Shake the mic, then start talking. If nothing else the sound guy will filp out!!
